Calgary & Alberta COVID-19 Virtual Programs

Updated: Jun 3, 2020

Difficult times such as the one unfolding around us call for innovative solutions, and we in the arts are especially equipped to find opportunities in a challenge. We have only to look online to see that almost overnight, arts companies and artists are pivoting to continue to fulfill their missions and visions in this unprecedented reality. If you are developing or presenting special COVID 19 online content or programs, please let us know and we will help you get the word out! #supportlocalarts

This list is now a permanent page on our website - see the updated list here: https://www.rozsafoundation.org/albert-online-arts-programming.

Email untoldphysicaltheatre@gmail.com to get involved!

Esker Foundation Today we go back to 2018 and share some images and an audio interview by Esker alumna exhibiting artist Sarah Stevenson. Take a look at our good friends Trepanier Baer gallery website and Sarah's extraordinary work.️ www.trepanierbaer.com You can now listen to Sarah Stevenson talk about her work at Esker here.

There's only so much Netflix we can watch before we'll go nuts. In a bid to make the next few months a little more bearable, and to encourage live music acts to create some relevant and timely content, the Polaris Centre for the Performing Arts will be opening our stage FREE OF CHARGE to small ensembles who wish to livestream concerts. If we can get a different act every night, we'll open up the space every night. We have a piano, drum kit, amplifiers, and more. Contact us at (403) 255-9368 to book a night. Tune in Live on Facebook or on our site, where there is an option to donate to these Alberta-based musicians.
