ROZSA FOUNDATION TRAINING PROGRAMS
We develop arts leaders through our suite of Training Programs designed to strengthen business acumen and organizational resilience within arts organizations.
Features of our Training Programs:
-
We offer an arts-and-business integrated approach
-
We offer experiential learning through our final projects
-
We offer peer-to-peer learning with other arts professionals
-
We offer the ability to work and study at the same time
Our programs are facilitated by a combination of instructors including leaders from the arts sector, Haskayne School of Business faculty, Rozsa Foundation staff (practicing arts management professionals), and professional leadership consultants.
Our Training Programs include:
ROZSA ESSENTIALS OF ARTS ADMINISTRATION (formerly RAFT)
Rozsa Essentials of Arts Administration introduces early career arts professionals to what it means to work in a not-for-profit arts organization. Through an interactive case study, topics covered include organizational structure, board and staff roles, strategic planning, and project planning.
ROZSA FOUNDATIONS OF ARTS LEADERSHIP
Rozsa Foundations of Arts Leadership provides arts professionals with 3+ years of experience an opportunity to be introduced to new concepts or dig deeper into topics including governance, resource development, marketing, human resources, leadership, and finance.
ROZSA HORIZONS OF ARTS LEADERSHIP
Rozsa Horizons of Arts Leadership is a cohort-based program for experienced arts leaders, combining expert insights, peer learning, and practical tools to cultivate readiness for change, explore pathways to organizational innovation, and lead with vision, compassion, and adaptability in a shifting arts landscape.
Intersections sessions are electives for the Rozsa Foundations of Arts Leadership program that are also open to our other training cohort along with arts professionals in the community. Intersections are four-hour in-person training opportunities that offer a chance for arts leaders at varying stages of their career from across the sector to learn together. By opening Intersections to both our training participants and the greater arts leadership community, our hope is to foster collaborative learning, problem solving, and knowledge exchange.
